ABOUT ZION'S TABERNACLE BAPTIST CHURCH:
Our church motto is "A Living Witness of God's Glory" and it is founded upon a combination of 1 Corinthians 10:31 and Acts 1:6-8. As we desire for the whole world to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by seeking repentance of their sins and belief in Jesus Christ. We are commanded by God in Scripture to do all things for His Glory and only His glory and that we are to be a living witness of Him no matter where we are in the world or what we are going through. From the beginning of your journey in Christ to the completion of your joy when you enter Heave, Zion's Tabernacle wants to be a helper in helping you to become "A Living Witness of God's Glory!"

Pastor - Rev. Adam Self
Pastor Adam began serving here at Zion's Tabernacle on Sunday, January 12th, 2025. He and his wife Kelly (pictured) have been married for twenty-four years and have two children, their son Jackson (22) and their daughter Jordan (17). Pastor Adam has been serving in pastoral ministry since July 2008. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy having served a little over eight years as and Information Systems Technician/Radioman. He enjoys preaching and teaching God's Word, being engaged in the community, hunting, and fishing.
Music Director - Candi Hester
Candi began serving at Zion's Tabernacle as Worship Leader and Music Director around 2012. She and her husband Lee have been married for 42 years and have 3 grown sons. Ryan, 39, is a Captain for the Charlotte Fire Department and is married to Sarah, an accountant. They have a beautiful little girl who is 3
and are expecting another girl in August this year. Andrew, 34,
is currently serving in the United States Army and Harrison, 28,
is currently serving in the United States Air Force. Harrison
is married to Kayla, a registered nurse. Candi has been serving part time in the music ministry since 1982. She is also retired as
a public school music teacher with 31 years of service. She enjoys spending time with her granddaughter as well as singing,
gardening, and reading.
Secretary and Bookkeeper - Sharon Cain
Sharon Cain has been the Secretary and Bookkeeper here at Zion's Tabernacle for 9 years. She and her husband Wayne have been married for 45 years and they have two children. Sharon loves taking trips to the NC mountains, Lake Waccamaw, and Holden Beach. She also likes working outside, planting flowers, and vegetables. Sharon also has a "fur-baby" named Ellie that she enjoys spending time with. Sharon is an active Grades 1-3 Sunday School Teacher and is also involved in the Baptist Women's ministry group.
